as some of you know, I have been "worried" as to whether or not my new 24-105L is "tack" sharp. I am in a psotition where i could go to Bangkok and get my lens "calibrated." I would have to change my plans and incure some costs so before i do this, would you please take a look at the following photos and tell me if this is as sharp as the 24-105 gets. This will be myu last opportunity to get the lens calibrated if it needs to be for several months.

The shots to me look somewhat sharp (keep in mind that everytime i look at them it is on a different computer in a different city), but when i compare them to shots taken with my 135L, the 135 is always sharper, sometimes much sharper. I don't want this to be about the 24-105 vs the 135, just whether or not the shots are as sharp as the 24-105 gets. by the way the last three photos are from my 135.

I haven't ben able to "test" the lens for back focusing issues and I probably won't be able to do that for several more days so I would greatly appreciate your fedback

here is a link to some of the shots:

For me there are no big differences between first ones and last three !
You got bigger sharpness differences between each frame than between lenses.

Since 135/2 should be somewhat sharper than zoom - you got good 24-105 :D

They look OK to me. Are you doing any sharpening in PP? That'll improve
    any preception of sharpness.
