I can't help but wonder if we are looking at the same picture because apart from the green grass and the green shirt, the skin tones etc look fine to me

The green tint is in the shadow on the right side of his face, left side of the picture. But with that much green in the shot, maybe the reflected light should be green?

I do see it in the shadow now that you point it out. This is straight out of the camera (apart from conversion to jpeg)
