Some pictures not enlarging

Today I noticed that some pictures in different galleries do not enlarge when I click on them.

It happens with IE7 as well as with Firefox (I have Windows XP).

For example in my Bruges gallery, when I click on the following pictures, the only thing I get is a "loading...." notification and nothing happens (in the bottom left status bar in the browser I get an "error on this page" message, whereas other pictures in the same gallery load immediately without error message.

The following pictures cannot be enlarged:

(there are more images in the gallery that do not load and enlarge but I think this gives an idea).

There might be lots of other pictures too that suddenly do not enlarge or load anymore.

I can't see your gallery settings, but one possibility is that you have disabled larges and originals in the customize gallery page for these galleries.

Thanks for responding, but it's not the large format I mean; it's about ENlarging (from small to medium format when I click on an image). I have disabled Large and Original format indeed but the problem is that when I click on an image I even can't get medium format. Also, when I click on the medium format in the pop up windows it just does not load the image.

So,

If your window is a decent size, then Smugmug will already display the medium size and clicking on the image needs the Large size in order to show you something larger.

If your window is small, then Smugmug will start out showing the small size and clicking on it will show the medium size.

When I view your gallery, it shows the medium size image by default and thus, with Larges disabled, there's nothing larger to show when I click on it.

But why is it then that some images (most of them) in THE SAME gallery in the same window load in the 'transparent' window, while other pictures in that same gallery do not (I'm not changing my browser window at all which remains at full screen):

e.g. this one from the same gallery loads immediately in the transparent window http://lucdejaeger.smugmug.com/gallery/1788892#89043676

and when I just go to http://lucdejaeger.smugmug.com/gallery/1788892#154101894, hover over the photo and select medium, the photo does not load and I get the error message.

I tried something else too: when I hover over a photo in the same gallery with the same browser window (always my full screen) and click on 'small' I get the transparent window with the small image http://lucdejaeger.smugmug.com/gallery/1788892#89043684

When I do the same with another photo from the same gallery with the same browser window (always my full screen) and click 'small' then this photo does not load. This one does not load in a transparent window (not the small one, not the medium one): http://lucdejaeger.smugmug.com/gallery/1788892#P-7-9

To rephrase my problem: when I hover over a photo IN THE SAME gallery, one photo will load in the transparent window when I either click on small OR medium, while other images do not load in the transparent window (always keeping the browser window at full screen). When the photo does not load I get the error message at the bottom of my browser "error on this page"...

It's a dumb bug on our part, we've fixed it internally but the fix won't go till this coming week.

If you remove the caption, it will work in light box.

Any single image view will also work fine in Large size (like traditional, or all thumbs or from journal style).

Have the same problem with one of four pics uploaded over the weekend, but will wait for the fix to take effect.
