    4labs,

I agree with Angelo. Great shot, great timing thumb.gifthumb.gif I wouldn't even think of attempting a shot like this, so I've got no suggestions for making it better. Bravo clap.gif

Love the idea. The balls which aren't moving seem soft. Tripod? Higher ISO/shutter speed? Flash?

    9-ball break
Your shot reminded me of one that I'd taken a couple of years ago. I like yours better than mine, but I don't think I'll ever be able to reproduce a 9-ball break where the 9 ball remains motionless like this one did. [Click on image for EXIF]

Steve..My wife was watching an some dumb movie and I was bored so I figured why not..

    Sid I was using a tripod I think the balls were moving ever so slightly I used a tripod .. Iso 1600 F22 @ 1/1.3 secs. 2.8 7--200mm lens @ 160mm

I used a self timer and tried to time the break as the shutter opened.. I have to say it took me about 50 tries to get a decent shot. No flash just some dim lighting overhead.

Andy.. I always apreciate your comments and can see why most of us want to take pictures like yours..

Kmcc I like your shot too ..I doubt I can reproduce this shot but was fun trying
