Effect of Changing Nickname On URLS?

Hi.

I changed my Smugmug nickname, but became concerned that doing so might make my existing image URL's invalid.

I checked and it appeared that my photos are displaying properly in the threads to which they were linked, but I don't know whether this is an artifact of my computer's cache, or if the Smugmug is somehow preserving the old URL's?

I'd like to change the nickname, but not at the expense of screwing up my forum threads elsewhere.

Edit: I did some experimenting and it appears that Smugmug is "forwarding" the old URL's to the new ones. Can someone who knows confirm this?

Hi, gallery and photo links are permanent even if you change your nickname, the urls and photo links will still work
