Bokeh makes shots pop from the picture and greatly increases their interestingness. Show off your best bokeh.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
This is an emu portrait from the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas.

Nice bokeh, especially the sandhills!

what do you guys think of this one.
I like the reflection of the heron in the water and its pose looking back, but I am not sure it is one with killer bokeh. It's simply a fine pic.

“PHOTOGRAPHY IS THE ‘JAZZ’ FOR THE EYES…”

All GREAT Photos..
It's nice to be able to post one of my photos in such a group of great (not said lightly) of dedicated photographers (both ladies and gents) !!!
Sometimes I don't get a chance to reply/remark on all the great photos posted on the Nature & Wildlife forum but I am always amazed at the quality and beauty of the captures.. it gives one something to shoot towards and has given me some great insight for my shots (like not shutting my eyes before I push the shutter button, ) !!
Thanks everyone..

I like what has the bokeh has done to the water to make it appear to be a an oil painting. Certainly not the most out-of-focus background, but I feel as though the softening of the back ground has given it a more artistic feel. But your right its not the "best" example of bokeh.
I cant resist I have to add one more that I found in the files,
Okay, just a couple more from me too, it's hard to resist. These will be my last so I can enjoy the other posts.

70-200f2.8 IS L has nice bokeh
So does a Sigma 300-800
180mm Tamron macro lenses can give nice bokeh also
It is really hard to beat the 135f2 at f2.2 though

Oh.My.God. Gorgeous! I love the pose, the color, the detail and the great bokeh just focuses my attention where it should be, on the woodpecker!
