On deck with the 500...
Today is another overcast day but I did spend an hour or so out on the deck. Managed to get a few shots, albeit at high ISO (800) and slow shutter speeds.
1D MkIIn, 500 f/4L IS, ISO800, varied apertures and shutter speeds

Thanks a lot, Dave. You're very kind. That's a red-breasted nuthatch that showed up for the first time yesterday. I think I am now seeing the start of the southward migration with some birds stopping over in this area.
