Flies of the butter kind
Went out hiking this weekend looking for some wildflowers, butterflies, birds to shoot. Hiked a couple of miles, saw just a few of each and got poison ivy and chiggers.
I was driving back home to my parents where my son and I were staying for the weekend and noticed that the fence row on the front of their property was covered with wildflowers and butterflies.
If only I had seen this first, I could have saved myself a few hours in the heat and all the itching. Oh well, I had a good time, so no real complaints.
Here are a few shots from the fence row and a Hawk that flew by their house thrown in for good measure.
Unfortunately, I had to crop this one quite a bit. The just won't let you get as close as the butterflies will.
Thanks as always for looking.
