as my few introductory posts have indicated, i have no real photography education/backgroun other than pointing/clicking.. hehe

anyway...i jumped in and purchased the equipment shown in my sig.

here is a link to a local workshop...im not sure what to expect for that price.

what do you think?

im tempted to get on craigslist and just ask for some one-on-one training from some local photographer...

any input? ideas?

i eventually want to do portraits of my children, girlfriends, and friends.
eventually want to shoot architecture...nature...anything really LOL

thanks

    What I did
Sounds like what I did about 6 years ago. For the price, you can't go wrong. I took a class like that and then kept going...wait...I keep going - I haven't stopped. Always something new to learn and try,

It of course depends on the teacher. But I totally agree w/ Chat. At that price, you can't go wrong. I'm very sure you will walk away from this class much more versed on photography. It will also help you lift the veil of what half the ppl in these forums are talking about!

    Go for it!
