help please..your thoughts on this? (workshop)
as my few introductory posts have indicated, i have no real photography education/backgroun other than pointing/clicking.. hehe
anyway...i jumped in and purchased the equipment shown in my sig.
here is a link to a local workshop...im not sure what to expect for that price.

im tempted to get on craigslist and just ask for some one-on-one training from some local photographer...
any input? ideas?
i eventually want to do portraits of my children, girlfriends, and friends.
eventually want to shoot architecture...nature...anything really LOL

Sounds like what I did about 6 years ago. For the price, you can't go wrong. I took a class like that and then kept going...wait...I keep going - I haven't stopped. Always something new to learn and try,
