I don't think it's too dark, but I think either the PP or the makeup is overdone,
depending on which of those is responsible for the look of the lady's skin.
If it looked more natural you'd have a real winner here. Don't get me wrong,
it's still very nice. And the model is stunning.

Not too dark for me, the darkness adds to the overall result of the photograph. Beautiful girl! Nice shot!

I like it very much, and i don't think it's too dark. I don't see whole lot of processing here. I see a beautiful lady with some nice soft skin. thumb.gif

And the lighting is great! Not too dark for me. Also looks like it would print very nicely.

    Well done.thumb.gif

I think she looks gorgeous, not too much PP at all and not too dark.

My only nit is the fingertip, especially the placement of it.

    Love the shot, though!

I think your exposure is OK but composition and styling leave a little to be desired.

Respectfully Angelo, a comment like that serves no purpose. If composition and styling are not to your satisfaction then offer some suggestions.

You're quite right and I apologize. You'll note my original post was at 2 AM, so I was a bit tired and should have refrained until ready to comment fully.

So as I said, your exposure is quite lovely.

    The minor things I dislike:

    As for composition:

you've chosen a square, or nearly square, aspect ratio. While that is not in itself a problem, the extent of dark negative space over the subject's left shoulder is a distraction.

as was mentioned by someone else, one fingertip is creeping into the bottom of the image

your crop tends to obstruct the natural line of her bosom. I would have chosen a bit higher or a bit lower, preferable lower to accentuate the line of her silk robe.

    as for styling:

I find the clump of hair on her left shoulder distracting. I would've tossed it back over her shoulder leaving only a few whispers of curls.

    her necklace is oddly angled

she's displaying a slack-jawed smile. it is always more appealing when there is no black space between teeth and lips.
