Problem making sub galleries.

My dad showed me how to make galleries with in galleries, but for some odd reason I seem to be unable to do that. I have tried "creating a new gallery" from within said master gallery, but it just makes a new main gallery.

Am I missing something? A setting? A button? My marbles?

Thanks:D

Ok, so I think I'm slowly getting it figured out.

But I do have another question. Is there a way to set it so my smug mug page is set to "Categories" view by default? Because whenever I log in or go to the page, it is automatically set to the gallery mode.

    Thanks

I assume that you're talking about the galleries page (http://your-smug-name/galleries). Look to the upper right of your galleries page when you are logged in. You will see an entry that says
    display: categories . galleries
If you click on categories it should change the default view.

So I can't force that setting for people who randomly view my site?

If you click on categories, that will change the setting for all who view the page.

The reason I mentioned that you have to be logged in to see the option is that it's something that can only be set when you are logged in.
