    Wow
How did you do this? Is it OK to ask? I am using a D200 Nikon and the only lens I have is the 70-200 f2.8 nikkor. I like it but I want to get closer. I am currently waiting for a 105mm MACRO f2.8 to be returned so I can rent it and see if I like it. Can you ask for advice in this form? Thank you for your time. MM

Hi there is a tutorial on how these shots are done here
    http://www.wonderfulphotos.com/articles/macro/dewdrops/

You really need to be shooting around 2:1 magnification though, which means a macro lens around 100mm and a full set of kenko ext tubes.

I may have to "borrow" your story book character refraction idea--a friend of mine is pregnant, and something like that would be great in a nursery/child's room.

All of them are amazing--as usual!

    Thanks Awais and TLee :)
Tlee- just remember to put the character picture upside down behind the drop :). If you are using real dewdrops in grass you'll probably need a waterproof picture. I found these characters on the plastic carry handle of a bag of oranges.

    Those are super Brian thumb.gif

Interesting that you can see the dots from the printing on the comic characters pretty clearly - means your drops are magnifying really well :D
