Are these pictures Macro?

After spending some time looking at the photos posted here... It seems I need to be closer in for it to be a MACRO. Any lens sugestions?

I am using a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8. Any suggestions on a good lens would be great. Thank you for your time and input. MM

    Nice shots- think the spider would pass as macro but the others are more closeups. For me a macro shot has to be able to show more detail than you can see with the naked eye.

    I agree with Brian, sometimes there's a very fine line between Close-up,
    and Macro.

    I love the background of your Dragonfly shot.
    Spider looks good too thumb.gif
    Last shot is not quite in focus, the flower is a very pretty colour.
