Large view image sizing

I was looking at these

and find this a much better large image viewing size than te SM large, which seems a bit tiddly on my monitor,(1680 *1050) is there any way the large could be larger, or have an XL without having to go te whole hog and have the original which can't be viewd whole on screen?

Just realised I hadn't made it clear that I was only interested in having larger sizes in the lightbox mode
