Capture NX problem

See the vertical line in the upper left of the frame? It's not supposed to be there. :scratch

It appears intermittently, sometimes when I initially open a file, sometimes halfway through my edit process. I can un-do edits steps but that doesn't make the line go away. I'm pretty sure it's not a camera problem, because I can close/re-open the file in Capture NX and the line will often go away. But it's appearing increasingly often and is becoming more stubborn about going away.

Has anybody seen this? Off to uninstall/install Capture NX . . .
Tim

Interesting problem. Have you updated to the latest version of NX (I see they had a release on August 7th?)

I uninstalled and then reinstalled with all the latest updates. No improvement. headscratch.gif

I'm surprised no-one else has a comment. Has nobody else experienced this?
    Sid.

Have you tried opening it in another RAW converter e.g. ACR/Bibble/Capture One?

If an alternative converter also experiences the same problem, it might be a damaged RAW file.
