These are a few of the shots I got this weekend at a trip to the Seafood & Wine Festival in Newport, Oregon. Let me know what you think!

[The first shot really conjures up this great sense of lonliness. I love the clouds in the second shot! Perhaps cutting out some of the reeds in the foreground might've added to the shot?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

It's good to see that light house up close... I'm cheap. I didn't want to pay the park fee just to take a picture.

I love these shots. Very nice. My family takes trips to Lincoln City. It's so beautiful.

These pics make me think I need a vacation. rolleyes1.gif

    peace.

Thanks Lells, I toyed with this idea as well since the bridge doesnt appear to be in focus and the wood in the water is. I will do some minor cropping after work tonight!
Hey Bridge City. I had a chance to visit your fine area this weekend. I wish I had known about the festival. We did nothing more than soak up the sun (I think I was in Oregon but the sun threw me off). The coast was incredible. We hiked one of the trails all day. Saturday we hiked 15 miles in the Santiam Wilderness east of Salem. The old growth forests are like an enchanted forest. I'll post pics later.
Beautiful shot molson! I spent most of my time near Otter Rock as I know a few trails that are off the beaten path. Growing up in Newport, we had to find places to 1drink.gif. :D I tried to get around to hiking, but the wine festival was too tempting :) I try not to miss them thumb.gif

Yeah don't remind me :bigbs. I was part of the original protestors out there a few years ago when they proposed it. Although, we did get to go down to the tide pool area as well, so that was kind of fun. I got some cool shots from inside the lantern room in the lighthouse as well. There isnt much you can get for 5 bucks these days, but at least I know the money is going back to the park.
