A Canon 40D and a 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS lens!!!

Hubby took my pic for me

IMG_5652_40d_70_200_f2_8_L_IS.jpg

Wow! Let me tell ya! The pictures taken with this camera are AWESOME!
And at ISO 800...OMG! Unbelievable! At ISO 800 on my 350D the images would be hardly useable unless you converted them to B&W to disguise the noise!

EVERYTHING is better on this camera! The clarity, the dof, the colours, the higher ISO's...WOW!

I LOVE my 40D!!!

Here are a couple of quick snaps I took today.
50mm f1.8 MKII lens, window light only
Manual Mode, ISO 800, f/4.0, SS 1/125
Minimal editing, to contrast and colours.

Canon EOS 40D, Canon EOS 350D, 50mm 1.8 MKII prime lens, 17-40mm f/4 L lens, 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS lens, 430 EX speedlite, Tungsten Continuous studio light, Pocket Wizards, Gary Fong Lightsphere, Stofen Omni bounce diffuser, 5in1 reflector

Are you shooting Raw? I've heard Adobe software (Bridge/Lightroom) wont support the new 40D Raw format....... Until they come out with a update. Bummer

My cam is set to raw and jpeg. So, I just edited the jpegs.
And yes that's correct Adobe doesn't support the 40D's raw format at the moment. However, I have heard that you can use dng converter http://www.adobe.com/products/dng/
