Can guests UPLOAD to a gallery???

I had a thought at last night's wedding. Is it possible to set up a gallery that guests from an event can upload to? Wouldn't it be cool to have a single location for all the photos from the wedding to be shared? Set it up so the other people's pics can be downloaded but not printed. Definitely password protect the gallery so potential clients wouldn't mistake the amateur shots with the pros. I'm thinking this would drive people to the pro website because more people would be sharing the link to see their photos.
I am an open photographer who doesn't care that other people are taking photos at weddings. Why not welcome other photographers with their expensive cameras and ask them to share? I'm sure the bride, groom, and the guests would all love to see what everyone else did.

If this isn't possible yet, how hard would it be for SmugMug to set up something like this?

What are other photographer's thoughts on this idea?

The best way would be to encourage them to use the email photo upload option.

Let the photos come to the Email gallery, then you move them where you want them (to a public gallery that you publish to the B&G etc....
