Lightning where I live only means 2 things... flash floods and car accidents. hahah.

Oh yeah on the top left corner of your first foto, the tip of the cloud, it sorta looks like a face huh? with the eyebrows, nose and lips. Maybe its just me ;p

Azzro yes it is fun if you are far away. I tried them at complete dark but this time lightning started when there was little blue left

These are great! I love the light still in the clear sky behind the cloud and the the star you caught in the second. I've never had any lightning shots come out like this.

We've been eighteen months without significant rainfall and the drought is expected to continue through the winter, so no lightning shots for me. :
