"Samsung?" CF card

I thought that I would try a 150x 4 GB Samsung CF Card from FastMemoryMan of Washington Court House Ohio. I know that Samsung is a producer of Memory cards under different brands, including Kingston (I have been happy with Kingston CF cards in the past). I have also been very happy with all the Samsung electronics equipment which I have purchased in the past.
This seller has a 98.3% positive eBay rating and has been selling since 6/03.
I received the CF Card which is just as pictured (no Samsung Brand, but that was expected). However, what I am concerned about is that there are no serial numbers or any identifying information on the CF.
I never thought that anyone would want to or try to counterfeit a CF card from a brand that is not really well known (like SanDisk or Lexar). However, perhaps I have a Chinese rip-off. I have not used this card yet but will do so today.
I am telephoning Samsung tomorrow morning to ascertain if this card has actually been produced by that company!
Does anyone know about these "Samsung?" CF cards?

If you buy from a reputable dealer, you will get a reliable product.
For memory cards, I purchase from either the same camera stores (including on-line stores) where I purchase equipment, or from places like NewEgg which have a pretty good reputation for memory and such.
I believe you got a "no name" card which could be from literally anywhere, produced by literally anyone.
FWIW, I only buy Sandisk and Lexar for important work.

I use the blue Standard card in my point-and-shoot, because it's Sandisk's low (slow) end, but for my SLR I use the faster Ultra II.
If you are a Costco member, they mailed out a coupon book that has a coupon for $10 off Sandisk Ultra II 4GB cards. The current Costco price was $59.99, and the price after discount was $49.99! I picked some up, because if they are anything like the 1GB Ultra IIs I've been using, they will rock.
Later that day I went to Best Buy, and found the same card selling for $99.99 (actually, on "sale" for $89.99). :bs That ain't no "Best Buy..."
