Practicing some panning shots on a lazy sunday. Not sure where to put it, so I thought this is as good as any.

    I like your third image a lot. The tilt of the camera and diagonal horizon line really add to the drama! thumb.gif

    Pixel Popper,
    I like to pan in portrait mode so it's tougher as the frame is narrower. Something I like to do for fun, since this is just a hobby for me. Plus I tend to prefer portrait compositions.

    Whenever I pan, I prefer to add a little dutch angle to add a sense of imbalance and drama as well.

    Like the potential for whats going on in shots 1 & 2 but as noted already shot 3 is super sweet! 1/30th? Now thats not too easy at the focal length metioned. thumb.gif Michael

    First word that comes to mind for the first two shots is Zorro,
    maybe its the hats but that was my first thought :D

    The Panned shot looks great, I can even see the water droplets on the hairs around it's mouth .... excellent capture thumb.gif
