Thank you email to customers

Does anybody send a thank you email to your customers after each order?

If so, would you mind sharing what you send?

Just trying to put something together and would like to see what others are doing.

    Mine vary - I usually write one new each time.. I use the share email feature, sending them a small copy of the shot along with my email. It's something like this:
    Hi Chris, wow - thanks so much for ordering from my gallery! The shot you chose is one of my absolute favorites, I like it so much I have it hanging in my (den, living room, studio, office etc)!

    I hope you enjoy it in print as much as I do - but if for any reason you are unhappy, just holler back to me, and I'll sort it out. Every print from Moon River Photography is 100% Guaranteed.

    Thanks again!

    But, what a mess if your client orders for 100 or more photos…

    I always send a thank you. Smugmug makes it so easy to respond directly back to customers by including their email in your order notification.

    I think it adds a personal touch and keeps me in their mind for additional photo shoots.

    I always send a thank you. I have a little 2 line note that i use as a template then add too as needed.

    Same here. First, I thank them for the order. Then, I tell them I reviewed it, and did some cropping for them(unless they did the cropping). Then, I ask them to let me know that they're happy with the photos when they recieve them.

    Every person who has ever ordered a print from me has received an e-mail thanking them for their order. I use a standard format, but always try to customize it based on the nature of the shot they've ordered.

    I always take the opportunity to ask them to let others know about my galleries; which often results in responses from the customers indicating that they are happy to do so.
