We were out for a climbing trip just outside Merredin. Which is about 3 hours east of Perth, Western Australia. The salt lake and surrounding areas are very appealing for photo's so will share a few here.

The salt was so hard no amount of jumpinp up and down could make sort of dent on the surface, it also crept up and over anything that lay in its path.

An early morning walk on the lake, coffee in hand

Tracks on the edge of the lake

Looking towards the sunrise with the salt cracks as it moves and settles I guess

And a final salt lake shot as it crystalises over a branch

Our campsite on a long exposure.

Chilling on a rock watching others climbing with the salt lake in the background.

Thanks for looking, please feel free to comment and or critique.
I will post a few of the climbing shots in the sports section.
May I take your picture?

I like the shot of the salt crystalizing over the branch. I might suggest an even tighter crop, like so, but that's just my opinion.

    A couple of thoughts:
    1. Generaly you are better off if you don't cut a picture in half with the horizon.
    2. People should be looking into the picture. Usually!
    3. Center of interest work better when they arn't in the middle. Look up rule of thirds.
    4. All rules can be broken. AZZARO
