Is there such a thing as a flash triger voltage step down device?

I have an old flash with a trigger voltage of 75v that I would like to use on a DSLR.

I use the Wein SafeSync on older flashes up to around 250 volts. You get safety from both the extended hot shoe and a front PC port. (It will not work with TTL devices, only passing the center pin.)

You can also use a slave unit to give electrical isolation. Either optical or wireless radio slaves will work, although you may need another "safe" flash on-camera to trigger an optical slave and your high-trigger-voltage flash.
