Canon S820

I am using the Canon S820 and it has been a great printer. I have always used the Canon brand inks with the Kodak and HP papers and have always gotten fantastic prints. However, recently it I changed to an aftermarket ink ( less than 1/2 price of the Canon inks). The first cartridge change to the lesser expensive ink was fine no problems. I just changed the cartridges again and now I am getting a blue cast on all the prints. Is it my printer or the lower cost ink cartridges causing the problem?
