Brilliant colors! I would maybe crop out the lower portion due to the lighted area in the left hand corner. It looks like maybe your flash fired, or there was a light from a house behind you?

A beautiful shot, and well composed. thumb.gif

Yes, I was using the flash, I always tend to use my flash otherwise my shots come up way too dark! Last night I was finally just getting the hang of altering the different levels of colour in the shot, like taking out some blue and increasing the red a little. There's definitely no house lights to ruin my shots, I was nice and tucked away in the sand dunes. I like the way the clouds are in the pic though, reminds me of something out of a movie!

My mission for winter is to catch a brilliant lightning shot in a thunder storm!

You definitly captured a gorgeous sunset! What beautiful colours! thumb.gif I would suggest cropping the bottom some too. Try to catch a tad more sky next time. :)

    Nice, relaxing shot!

Very nice Lells. Beautiful colors and composition. I'm not sure I agree about cropping it. I like the depth of this shot and your horizon is about 2/3. If you cropped it would change the entire picture. Nice job! thumb.gif
