I like these two that you posted that were rustic and very American West. Even though the tones are all brown there is something about them that is soothing and calm. I imagine all of the wood smells wonderful in person!
Thanks, schmooo! Both of the shots you mentioned were taken in Arizona, so good call on the American West. As to the tilt, this shack was going every which way. I don't think there was a square corner anywhere in the building. I struggled for a while with the orientation of this shot, and finally settled on having the boards on the back wall be as close to vertical as possible. But, no matter how it is oriented, some part of it looks askew.
