Hi Everyone,
The Forest Service has been doing a controled burn for the last two days so
the whole valley has been a blanket of thick heavy smoke.
So I broke out the trusty 300 f/2.8 for a couple shots and that is all I got.
I think the birds all headed out for cleaner air too.
I got out early today before they started burning again and got these.
By 10 am the sky was a hazy gray smoke again so I gave up.
I love this lens.. it can make a marginal photog (like me) look
pretty good and USM is never needed. But I was really reaching for the first two shots
after shooting with the 500 for the last couple weeks.
Thanks for viewing.
