The other night, a group of me and my photographer friends here in North Louisiana got together at this amazingly chic club named Chicago. We all brought our different collections of monolights and modeling lights and strobes, and we just played with lighting and technique the whole night. we had three gorgeous models and I wanted to share some of my pictures with y'all! I hope you enjoy! It was such a fun night!

Nice shots Ross! #16 stands out the most for me; I love the warm reflected light, how the backlighting outlines her arm and hair, and the intensity of her eyes. I also find #7 very engaging; interesting background complimenting the angle of her pose. I also like the lighting over the model's face better than in #4.

    Looks like a fun shoot!

    Thanks guys!

RTP, for all of those but the first one, I was using the 50 f/1.4

the first one was taken on a 12 foot ladder with the 24-105 f/4L IS over a disco floor :)

Awesome work, Ross. I'm going to have to say that #7 works best for me. The lighting on her face is subtle in the way that it fades at the edges, and the bokeh here really does it for me. Good stuff!
