I see in diff mags of diff filters to use...Circ Pol.....Intensifier....Grad ND
Curious how others tackle this task.

well the 1st thing im going to do is take advantage of the golden light afforded by the sun right after sunrise or a few hours prior to sunset. I am also going to shoot with my WB set to cloudy.
It might be a mistake but thats what Im going to try....
That's what I wanna avoid is mistakes.
It'd be good if we had some nice color this year too.
Last year color in my area was b l a n d!!

actually my idea is correct, and tell ya one thing more....
fall foilage on a rainy day "in the woods" is a great time to use a Circular Polarizer to capture the color of those leaves ( especially the ones that might have fallen near streams / ground etc.)...
1st of all you dont have to deal with the sharp contrasts and shadows caused by a harsh sun.
All the surfaces are wet and the wet surfaces pick up grey glare. The CP gives back the vibrant colors.... so even on a rainy/ cloudy fall day get out and shoot those leaves

Good time to shoot in RAW format as well?
