Wow, a real kukkburra. First time I've actually seen one. Where are the gum balls?
How big is this fellow?
We have quite a few on our block, their not native to Western Australia and are being culled. The local birds are being killed off by this new comer.
Their tough, one flew into wife's wind screen of the car a few years back she stopped to see if see could help it, it had flown off or so she thought. getting out of the car at home she saw that the bird had wedged itself between the roof and board racks. it then flew off into the closed garage window fell to the concret floor with thud shook itself off then took off heading out of door.
Another one sitting outside of our kitchen kept crashing into the window attacking its reflection.
Not very bright but they sound great.
