Thoughts?

This is from a series I just did, sleeping overnight on the Great Wall. Unbelievable experience! A lot of these don't show well on screens, a bit dark. The rest of the series is at:

    What a very exciting place to be! Have you tried processing the shot like this? I am no expert on the matter, and there a lots of folks on here far more talented than I, but in just a couple of minutes I got this rendering. Not the greatest version, to be sure, but just saying that there are some things you can do to bring out more detail.

    Anyway, thanks for sharing this. Makes me want to pack up and go there right now!

    Thanks for the tips. I'm a bit torn about lightening them more as it takes away from the mood, and they look better on print than on screen, but if I'm trying to sell them online then people wouldn't really like this darker look anyway. Back to photoshop...
