With a little better results :clap

My whole vacation was an exercise in futility...one thing and then another. I'm sure it happens all the time to others...but I'd rather read about it than experience it! :D

Anyway...here's a back-lit GBH.

Its a good capture Ric, you handled the backlighting well. I would say the background was more of a bother than the lighting.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Double 15524779-Ti.gif, but I do like the nice eye contact. I think certain birds just have striking eyes!

    Thanks everyone...
...I agree wholeheartedly about the background, but this is the best close-up of a GBH that I've been able to get so...click! :D

Maybe this winter (such an ugly word) when nothing else is going on, I'll cut this guy out and give him a proper backdrop.

    Thanks, again. :D

BTW that's a big boat in the harbor at Alma,Wi. in the back.
