Hi Y'all,

Lasy week I had the privilege of shooting with Gale, Nancy, Robin and Jessie from the Nikon Cafe ( I have always been a babe magnet :lol4). The company was great, the lighting not the greatest and it was a tad slow at the wetlands. I did manage to get in a few shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Getting two in one shot is always nice (and hard to do) and you did it twice in this set.clap.gifclap

Nice to see you haven't forgotten how to do this stuff! I was begining to wonder.headscratch.gifD

Thanks Ric. I have been so damn busy I'm thinking about going back to work so I can take a break. Tomorrow, I'm giving a photography lesson from 7 AM to 10 AM. Then its back to the house where I have to start smoking a couple of turkeys for a fund-raising dinner that night. The turkeys should be done around 5 when I'll carve and wrap them and then get up to the hall at 5:30 for the dinner and meeting which will last until 9 PM. Then its clean-up time.

I have over 2,000 shots waiting to be processed. :bash

A day when you get caracaras, a red shouldered hawk and the rest of the wading birds is not a bad day. Nice shots despite the lighting. thumb.gif

    Hey fabs,

Viera is slowing picling up. The teals and black-bellied whistling ducks are back. A BBWD pair have had 12 ducklings. The caracaras are usually around and the red shouldered hawk seems to be making appearances again. I haven't seen the eagles yet but a pair flew over my house yesterday.

Thanks Dave, the caracaras are banded by the local environmental agency to track their movements and to see where they habitate because of their endangered status.

Err Jeff, unless you're a female I have no interest in your reaction to my magnetism. :lol4
