This one was taken with my Canon XTi using the EF 100-400 at max zoom. I primarily use the XTi for wildlife to get the benefit of the 1.6x lens factor.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

    Thanks, everyone.

I must say that it was great getting that close to an eagle with nothing but air between the eagle and me. The eagles at the Eagle Center have all had life-threatening injuries and have been nursed back to health, but because of the nature of their injuries they are not able to be turned back out into the wild. They keep them at the center and allow them to live as close to a natural life as they can until they succumb to old age. There is a lot of dedication there in the staff.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
