linked image suddenly not showing

I use the URL to post an image to my blog so that it links back to my SM gallery. I have been doing this for months.

I made a blog post on 9/17, with the picture showing correctly, and have had many comments on my blog post regarding it.

Today, when I go my blog, that picture is no longer showing - just the alt text that I use.

I have checked the code on my blog - it is correct.

I have checked the gallery in SM, and the photo is still there - no changes in the URL.

Why is it not pulling through to my blog? All my other images still are.

is that what you are using?

Do you have external links on in that gallery?

I don't know if you changed anything, but the image is showing fine in the blog for me.

It still isn't showing for me, just the alt text in a square box.

I just checked in IE7, and it is showing.

I use FF and it does not show.

I just did an update to FF to see if that was the problem - still no image coming through.

I'm really confused now!

I'd suggest clearing your cache in Firefox. My test above was in Firefox and I see it fine.

What you can do, is force the page to reload, and ignore the existing cache (similar to clearing cache for that specific page only).

Easy to do and to remember!

Hold down the 'shift' key and click on the reload button
