Replacing "Kit Lens" on Canon Rebel XT

I want to replace the lens that came with the camera, I would like to get something that had the same range,or close to it, since I love the wide angle on the lens.... I have a 75-300 and a 50.... what should I add next for this camera? Any suggestions in the say $200+/- range would be helpful... Thanks! Karen
