Finally got a couple of decent shots of this beautiful bird.
It is apparently related to the sparrow and is native to northwest and eastern Africa.

They are pretty common in SAfrica and just starting to come into breeding plumage now.

Love all of them but #2 is my , I like the subdued color and composition even though the others are a closer representation of it's true color.
This is a very difficult bird to capture accurately, you did a great job man
