    Filters
I know you specified B-W, but I have two Hoya HMC Super UV(0) filters in 72 and 77mm for sale. I will take $65.00 for the both of them plus shipping. They are like new in their original boxes.

The prices there are similar to what you pay for used. These are the real deal, Schneider has confirmed, I have bought numerous times. Not associated with the site, except as a happy customer.

Shady looking website, but apparently it MAY be safe: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/HVStar

    I stick with B&H.

Choice is yours, and so is the extra money you will pay to B&H. I have no problems giving my business to B&H when the difference is under 10%, but we are talking 30% here for B+W, and over 50% for the Hoyas.

As far as the shadiness, there is nothing shady about it. These are the same people who sell as 'besteastern' on EBay, with a satisfaction rating north of 99.5% on thousands of transactions. They respond to email 24x7, ship within a day of receiving the order. Once I asked why my order is taking as long to arrive. They asked me to wait a few more days, but stated that they will re-ship if I ask again a week later. If you don't want to order direct, you can get the same stuff from eBay from them for a few bucks more.

I've bought B+W filters from hvstar.net several times with complete satisfaction. Orders usually processed in a couple days. Air mail takes another week to cross the Pacific. Their products are genuine. Ordering the B+W 77mm and 72mm MRC UV 010 alloy ring filters from hvstar will cost you $86 ($49+$37) plus $19 for shipping & handling. Total of $105. The same filters from B&H costs $142 plus $5 shipping. Not sure if the ones from B&H are brass or alloy ring. You can also get the same filters in brass ring from www.2filter.com for $139 with free shipping (over $66).

Basically, you have some choices here when it comes to these particular 2 filters. The differences are not that much so you decide where to spend your money.
