My very first test shots with Canon 40D. :clap
Not that ofthen you get to see an image #0001:-) :barb
Of course, I could not think of a better subject for My Very First 40D Shot than my Helen :-), who was kind enough to oblige. :wink
The album below allows an access to the originals, 10.1Mp jpegs.
Please only use it for educational purposes, no funny stuff. :deal
There are also two RAW files you can download my my Star*Explorer site, namely RAW1 and RAW14.

    Looks great! thumb.gif

Wish I could afford a 40D but I'm in no hurry.
JUST got my 20D recently with only 480 clicks on it!
Has just shy of 900 now so it'll last me a while. :D

Sweet, Nik. Gratz!. The 40D looks like a great camera.

I just recently got my second 0001 out of my 5D after wrapping the file name counter.

    Thanks for posting these, Nik.

Look like pretty nice images for 800 ISO f3.5, though I haven't looked at the originals yet.

Looking forward to seeing some of your Glacier shots!

No "buyer's remorse" for me either!:D

Hmmmm. Nik, have you thought about using the first one for the current challenge?

Very nice series. I want a 40D NOW.

Nah, not really. It *is* just a snapshot (although due to Shay's portrait training I seem to be able to take decent snapshots now:-)
