Large image sizes with smugmug style

I think I am going crazy.

Has the display of large image sizes (when using the smugmug style) stopped working?

I know it used to create a pop-up of the larger size but now it no-longer seems to work. I tried both IE and FireFox but in both cases the same. When I click on the pop-out box 'large option' nothing happens. Have I missed something?

    Thanks, Gareth.
Well you have lots of galleries, I meant a specific gallery where you are having this trouble.

    It's working fine, here:

Sorry, as it did had not worked on any gallery for me I thought it effected everything - of course you picked the one gallery that worked fine!

    However http://eye-for-photos.co.uk/gallery/3325663#188638543 shows the problem.

In the meantime I was puzzled as to why one gallery worked and another didn't, so I changed the gallery settings to match and hey presto that curried the problem - even when I reverted the settings back. (see http://eye-for-photos.co.uk/gallery/3378657#188675058 for a working gallery)

Since I used a gallery configuration template on the galleries that are not working correctly and had manually set the configuration on the gallery you looked at, I thought the template must be at fault. But I tried re-applying it with no effect.

Obviously I can go through my galleries and change the settings to clear this problem, but do you want to investigate it first?

I am not with Smugmug, but I've had an experience that sounds like it might be related so I thought I'd pass it on in case it helps.

I've found that occasionally Smugmug galleries get "stuck" in the Smugmug Small style. While, I have no idea how to reproduce this, it has happened to me 3-4 times so I'm pretty sure it's some sort of glitch/bug. When this happens, no matter how large you make your viewing window, they won't show the larger size for the main image. The only work-around I've found is to set the gallery to some other style besides Smugmug (like Traditional or All Thumbs) and then back to the Smugmug style. The problem seems to clear itself once you come back to the Smugmug style. The rub is, if the gallery doesn't offer a style picker (either it's hidden with CSS or the gallery is locked into the Smugmug style), the viewer can't fix the problem themselves in that gallery.

The good news with the glitch I've seen is that the problem is only local to one viewer, it's not a general problem with the gallery so, while I've seen the problem several times, I've never had any of my viewers tell me about this problem (though they might not notice it). The bad news is that things that happen to me as an individual user probably are happening at least occasionally to other viewers too.

Great, problem solved. Apparently I had a rogue
<div></div> in the footer which caused the problem. I have a vague recollection of reading one of the customization articles where it stated it needed to be there but I could be wrong - however the point is I'm happy again <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/rolleyes1.gif&quot; border="0" alt="" >

Actually now I think of it, why did one of the galleries start working again..........:toni
