i recall reading some threads on other forums about how people were kicking themselves for not sending theirs back to quantum for the battery swap. something about voltage not being regulated or something...

i think apex www.apexbattery.com has some DIY battery kits for quantum units. OR if you happen to live near a batteries plus, i'm sure they'd have a replacement on site or for order.

be careful changing it though, the voltage is high enough to do more damage than making the hairs on your neck stand up...

just ran across this.....I have had several Quantums rebuilt by All Pak batteries here in Wichita and I have had absolutley no problems withthe batteries or the fuel meter or anything......don't remember the prices but it was significantly less than sending back to Quantum.

For what it is worth that is my.0000001 cent worth.
