Glossy Ibis with Better Beamer

As was said light was not terrific at Viera yesterday, so I decided to try out the Better Beamer on this glossy with my 300 2.8 and 1.4TC.

Thanks! I have the Tamron AF, LD, SP 300 2.8 which I got several years ago when I had a F5 and I really like it. I use the Tamron Pro TC's with very little decrease in IQ. With the D200 it works extremely well, but I am really looking forward to using it with my new D300!!

The better beamer sure helped with a really tough bird to shoot in good light.

Very nicely done. I like the subtle grey tones. It goes well with the color of the ibis' feathers.

Hi Nancy, Very nice shot. I've got a better beamer but I'm waiting for the sun to burn out out here in Arizona so I can finally try it out..

And Chris, about the Arizona sun, I must say I have only been out there one afternoon when there was no sun. Lovely part of the world.
