Priviet, dear DGriners and guests!
And again I invite you to take part in our MA#2 'Natural Light Portrait'
http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?p=635539#poststop
We had a talk about backgrounds there. One of them is used here.

It was our first 'serious' session, though I met and asked her for a photo shoot a year or so ago. Yes, sometimes the ways to session may be not that straight...

1 Rows, series - one of the interesting things in photography. Used them for bg here.

2 high key
5387.jpg
3 Long exposure with 'natural' cafe light
5388.jpg
4 Again cafe light only...
5389.jpg
5 I like this one - sharp, clear with DOF playing 'leading' role.

6 I like her expression here.

7 BG with its columns underline the beauty of models legs...

Whats your thoughts?

Spasibo,
Yuri

My favorite of this great set is #3. It has a great low key mood and the warm light against the blue wall is a wonderful color contrast.

I like shot 8 the best! You have some great locations. Where are you located?

    Excellent!
    Hello Yuri,

I always look forward to your postings. You never disappoint.

#1 is my least favorite although I can't put my finger on why. Still, it is a good shot with a beautiful model.

#2 I really like. It is as if the spot was made for her, the curve of her arms flowing with the round openings, her hands naturally landing in the middle bottom of each circle, the size and placement of her head, the complimentary patterns of her dress and the facing of the ledge. It just works for me.

#3 she will not be alone at that table for long with THAT look.

#4 is my favorite. Classic and very sexy.

#5 Beautiful shot. I like the fact that her skin tone, clothing and hair all compliment the primary coloring of the wall she is leaning against. The green foliage sets her apart nicely and the subtle red of the bricks really completes the scene.

#6 I totally agree with you, what a wonderful expression. Probably the most beautiful full face shot of the set.

#7 definitely does what you wanted it to do.

    As always, nice work!

    Randall
