some kind of flower?

we went to disney land and this was sitting there.
i really wanted to take pics of the fireworks with a slow shutter speed.
but we didn't have our tripod...and i still haven't learned how to properly do that.

anyway....
here was the pic of the flower taken with the macro lens.

not sure about the focus/settings/etc but i really enjoy the colors of this flower.
