If you want to crop parts out of your image, that's up to you. But upload the images in the native resolution, no resizing. This will generally get you the best results. The minimums that we have set are just that, minimums. Try to be a good bit over the minimums, your original size will be fine thumb.gif

I use a 20D and many times I crop but do not resize my photos for the smugmug. I only offer right now 4x6,5x7,8x10...it seems that when I do not resize the photos when they order them it crops alot...would it be ok to resize......
downloads what do most people offer the 1mpx or 4...what size photos can you get with the 1 vs 4...hope to hear..widget

ok...when you put the photo in the native resolution, with no resizing..when I go to the shoppin cart with my photos which size do not need ajusting?
it looks like the 4x6...if they wanted an 5x7 or 8x10...I would have to replace the photo because it would cut off the writing that I have a t the top...hope to hear just trying to understand all of this..widget

    Anything with a 3:2 ratio. So, 6x4, 9x6, 12x8 etc.

You can set it so that you don't sell the odd sizes. just the ones that fit. (assuming that you have a pro site.)

You've posted same type of question twice so I've merged the threads.

Don't crop or otherwise resize. More on my file prep, here:

Let the buyer crop. And you set the galleries for Proof Delay. IF they get the crop wrong, or not perfect, you can fix it before the order goes out.
