Flaps Up, "Wheels Down"
Not being a "wildlife photographer" or Pro, I still feel like a bit of an adventurer with this shot.
I was on the stern of the Queen Mary in Long Beach harbor (where it's been docked for the last 40 years). A bunch of pelicans were perched along one of the heavy rope lines tied between the ship and the shore.
The "adventure" was tryping to capture them in mid-flight as they approached the rope to land.
Other than cropping and resizing the file to send to this forum, there's no other PS adjustments. I had my zoom on and that was about it.

Thanks Mike...I see from your Egrit shots, that close-ups of birds in flight over water is a theme that resonates.
In my case, Birdie was close enough that my 12X zoom was more than adequate to fill up the frame.
