When I saw your original entry with title, I understood what I did not understand when I first saw it in this comment thread and it moved me. It is a touching photograph but as an entry in the challenge, I think the vingetting is too unsubtle and the lighting not distinctive enough for the picture to really be strongly on theme.

The dandi, on the other hand, hits is much, much stronger. Good decision to enter it. thumb

I really like the dandelion better. It seems to fit the theme better and at least for me it stands out more.

Probably my misunderstanding. You said "just had this by chance," and I thought you meant it was something you just happened to have in your archives that fit the theme. I thought you might not know the shot must be taken during the contest period. My bad!
