Multi-level gallery hierarchy

I know this must have been asked many times before, but I could not define a search to find the necessary information.

Anyway is it possible to have a deep, multi-level hierarchy of sub-galleries i.e. galleries->animals->pets->furry->dogs etc and if so how?

You have 3 levels available -

category --> subcategory --> gallery

You can also use keywords to group items together, and can set up direct URL links to keywords from your navbar or from other pages in your galleries.

You may also want to look at the Gallery & Keyword Redirects that PBolchover documents in the thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=47386&highlight=virtual+galleries. Maybe that will give you the depth that you are looking for.

Thanks, three levels is not that deep but I can see how it is possible to create my own HTML pages to simulate the levels (just seems a lot of effort for something that should be simple).


Also interesting, I had not realized keywords could be used in the URL to create virtual galleries.

Here are a couple of keyword examples from my galleries, just in case you want to see an example.

First, keyword is Acadia National Park:
http://denise.smugmug.com/keyword/acadia%20national%20park

Second narrows the focus, using two keywords, Acadia National Park, and wildflowers:
http://denise.smugmug.com/keyword/acadia%20national%20park-wildflowers
