These Petroglyph's were worn into the rocks between 6,000 and 3,000 years ago by the native Indians, it is believed this area was a migration route for the wildebeest, while the Indians were waiting for the animals they produced this rock art.

Pete, neat subjects! I didn't see any petroglyphs when I was in Nevada, I wish I had though. Do you know what any of them mean?

If I had it to say, The first and second mean we waited all day and all night.
The third means one group went that way and the other this way down the mountain. The forth says the leader had a fit cause we were all banging on rocks scaring off the animals and not hunting. Just another day at the office.

    Hi, Mike
Not sure of the road name, these were taken at Grimes point near hidden cave.

    Thanks for looking.
